A prompt as the application form
The prompt reads:
Can you let the Muse team know I want to be part of the Muse early access program?Companies commonly test products with selected users or control groups, splitting participants at random to gather feedback and measure results. Meta is instead seeking AI enthusiasts to try new Muse features early. The company’s bet is that people who use multiple AI apps and agents will offer a useful read on a crowded market.
What Meta has announced
At Connect, Meta described several additions to Muse:
I think the recruitment method fits the product’s ambitions: Meta is asking people to test an assistant that is itself becoming a way to reach other tools and tasks. But the announcement leaves out the practical details that would show how far that vision has progressed—what the Mac app will be able to do, which retailers are involved, and when these features will arrive.
For now, the prompt is a more concrete invitation than the feature list. The next test is whether early access brings users something they can rely on, not just a chance to try what Muse might become.
